Busy busy busy!
Well things have been pretty busy lately! I’ve been working non-stop at my full-time job at Remark! (www.remark.uk.com) in London and any free time I have is spent with my foxy girl, in the pub or updating my website and enjoying the gift of life. Not forgetting my blog too of course.
Let us begin- I am darren.
I never thought I'd be one to start a blog mind you, not my kinda thing, but hey there’s a first time for everything huh! So why did I start a blog anyways you may ask? Who knows. It could be cos I’m bored, it could be cos I wanted to follow the trend or it could be cos it seems a pretty good way of keeping the family n friends updated on the life of darren! Or it could just be to keep a personal journal of the going-ons in me life. Nevertheless it’s my personal blog but anyone interested in reading about me are welcome! Leave me a wee note if you do, it’s always good to read any comments, good or bad!
I’ve missed a day in updating the blog, the reason being I went to the pub with my girl n my fellow deafies and indulged in a nice cold beverage or three. Had a nice pint of Stella Artois...reassuringly expensive? Reassuringly expensive indeed! One can't have a decently priced pint in London!
So what’s happening with me? I seem to have caught the learning/reading/and every other kinda bug recently (except the cold bug thankfully) and I'm constantly buying books and learning new stuff for some reason. Since I’ve been in London, iv not been able to relax and I’m constantly needing to keep occupied, London kinda has that effect on ya! All work and no play makes darren a dull boy you may think? All work and no play makes darren a clever and successful boy more like! I’ve gota admit I am a bit of a workaholic, if your gona do a job then do it well is what I say, although part of my problem is that I do things too well, I'm a perfectionist you see. But this boy still finds time to let his hair down, or what’s left of it, to have fun. Which brings me to an interesting question that was posed to me recently by a lovely gal by the name of marcella: Do I live to work or do I work to live? I gota be honest, a bit of both I guess but interesting nonetheless. The thing is, I have everything a man could want- a good job, money in the bank, a beautiful girl, a beautiful house and beautiful friends. But there is still that nagging feeling of wanting more, but more what? That is the question my friends. I'll have to get back to you on that when I find out.

Whether you have noticed or not, the fact remains that it needs a lil' updating, mainly to include all my most recent work, all of which will be included in due time. (Just for the record, all work on my site at the moment is a couple of years old).
